Only have had a burger and fish sandwich plus fries they were good prices were reasonable

One really good burger with crinkle cut fries, a crispy corndog and a chocolate/peanut butter and banana shake! YES, went off a bit...SOOOO good!!! Yummy yummy😋😋😋

Delicious burgers. They don't look like anything special, but the ingredients are pretty good. Fries are the squiggly-cut ones, which I personally dislike (not crispy enough). That being said, I would come back for a convenient burger.

Great 1/3 lb burgers. You can really taste that these are grilled not griddled. Crinkle cut fries are OK but not as crispy as big burger chain fries.

Love the burgers here. Grilled over flame heat. Fries okay, onions rings better. I ways all ahead for meal pick up. Have not dined inside place, always return to work.

We've only had their burgers so far and it's pretty good. Juicy, flavorful with good heaping of fresh veggies. Perfect when you're in the mood for good old fashioned burger.

The burgers, fries, and milkshakes are so legit. If you ask for medium rare that's what you are gonna get. The food is always fresh and served hot. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about this joint it's just GOOD.

Terrific old-school "burger joint" that serves up a tasty burger. Also fish chips, fried clams etc. Tiny indoor seating -- across from Albany Bowl.

Good burgers, taste like they came right off the BBQ Grill. Fries are fine, not great. Onion rings were good, as was the ranch dipping sauce.

I honestly liked the dishes and service, awesome area next to where I live. The staff members are always super friendly. Will come visit again.

I've been here many times but have always failed to check in. If you want a great burger, this is a great burger! This place beats Red Onion and any other burger joint out there. The burgers may be good. I did not try. I tried the fish and chips and my wife tried the fried seafood. The fish is not home fried. Looks similar to the one from Costco. Not bad but not what I expected. The fried squid was too cooked and too dark. Fries were also not home cut. Not sure I want to try the burgers.

Hamburgers have great flavor! Charbroiled definitely adds to the taste as well. Nice job!

It's difficult to find a flame broiled burger, but this place is good! It would be nice if you didn't need to pay extra for EVERY topping. Juicy Burger in San Jose doesn't do that, you can add extra toppings at the "toppings bar".

Often busy here. The staffs are nice. The food is good. They don't mind giving extra grilled onion, just ask.

Back at again I simply love this place on a day like today weather being all gloomy perfect comfort food and a good movie

Charcoal grilled burgers! Yes.. CHARCOAL. Grandfathered in I guess but it's nice to be able to find it. Good, quality food. Fantastic service. Everything is made to order but the employees/ owner have food prep down so well that even when it's packed the wait is still very reasonable. Everyone here is very polite.... even the customers. Can't say that about very many places. By far this is the best burger around.

This place is so good. I get the big burger, grilled fresh on a bun with lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, and mayo. Good old- fashioned place with ketchup and mustard squirt bottles on the table. Fast, friendly service. My mom gets the BLT, served on a bun. The bacon is so crispy and good and you can order the crinkle-cut fries extra crispy. A great place for burgers. Try it!

Good food and great customer service. Would recommend for groups of 1-5, over that and it gets a little crazy.

The milkshakes are amazing! I love a strawberry vanilla, or a mocha and peanut butter, so so good. The burgers are good too, bacon burgers are my go-to, the bacons cooked perfectly

Great local burger spot. Had a filling BLT and fries. Burgers, fries, fried mushrooms, mozzarella sticks are always wonderful and the service is always friendly.

the beef is 5 star and produce is 4 star fresh. Cheese is good quality too..."A1" customer service !

Great location, a short walk from El Cerrito Plaza Bart Station & Plaza. When I'm passing through shopping or doing errands I make it a plan to visit Al's. It's run by a nice Korean-American family, it's an Albany hallmark. The prices are great for a great portion. Usually order the Fish 🍔 with Fries and a Large Sprite, today got the Cheeseburger with mushroom and the works. Man was I filled 😊, this place pulls folks from different walks of life, & everyone's polite, opening doors for others, saying excuse me, offering others their table (for me 2x). Once someone leaves their table someone quickly wipes down table. Your order isn't that far behind. I always make it a point to say thank you to my servers & once I depart. There's a restroom around the back, you'll need to ask for the 🔑. If you're in the area, doing errands or passing through it's a great 🍔 joint. They close @ 7/8 pm, forget.

As others have said, no frills old school mom and pop operation. First bite and the fact they're flame grilled is unmistakable. My solution to the oft mentioned fries problem is to take them out of the bag immediately, they are much crisper when I do that. I don't eat burgers that often, but when I do this is where I go.
